Usage and dosage:
In the refining temperature range, put the quantitative refining
agent into the duster storage tank and cover it well, first pass
nitrogen (pressure is 1.2 ~ 1.8kg/cm2) and then open the switch
below the refining tank. When the iron pipe has the refining agent
spewed out, insert the iron pipe into the aluminum liquid for
horizontal moving, the insert depth should be 3/4 of the depth of the
iron pipe end in the aluminum liquid. Move the iron pipe around 2 ~
3 times before and after, do not touch the furnace wall, in order to
prevent blocking the pipe, in the refining time (6 ~ 20 tons for 10 ~
15 minutes), the flux is sprayed, and then the iron pipe from the
liquid aluminum, shut off nitrogen.
Recommended dosage: 0.2-0.5% of melt
The specific demand depends on the amount of inclusion and the
actual amount of inclusion should be obtained from practice.
Matters needing attention:
A. Control the speed of powder feeding by opening the size of the
switch at the bottom of the refining tank, and try to spray flux during
the refining time
B. Control the churn height of liquid aluminum by controlling the
nitrogen pressure. On the premise of not blocking the pipe, it is
better to have a smaller churn, which is better below 15cm
